Newton's method

Sliding down the tangent lines towards the zero: choose the starting point and the iterations, and watch the correct digits double. Drag the sliders, or press ▶ to animate. On the graph, pan by dragging with two fingers (or the mouse) and zoom with Shift + mouse wheel.
